PARENTS OF 2023 SENIORS

This is your senior’s last year at home!

So many milestones and unique situations that your senior will be going through. College applications, varsity sports, pushing through to graduation, they’re dating and social life. All of these choices seem so big and daunting for your senior.

BUT WHAT NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT IS…

How are you doing as a parent as you watch and support your senior?

You may be facing overwhelming anxiety thinking of your senior and how they are doing. You are wondering if you’ve taught them enough, if they’ll figure life out, and how to cram everything else you want to instill in them in these last few months. I get it! It can feel like there is no support for you as you try to support your senior.

You don't have to do it alone.

From the first day of senior year to watching them leave for the nest, I’m here to support you in all of it.

By joining my group of senior parents, you’ll be taught a valuable tool each session, have the ability to be coached, and listen to others get coached- this is really significant in the fact that other parents may be facing issues that are soon to arise for you and you’ll have the gained insight to parent from a better place. Also, when you’re the one getting coached it can become unnerving. It’s hard to soak up as much information with the spotlight on you. But if it’s another parent, whose struggle is similar to your own, breakthroughs can be easier and more comfortable. The community in this group will be huge as we all launch our babies into adulthood.

Are you ready to grab your seat?

Calls are twice a month, Tuesdays at 10:00am-11:15am MDT

PARENTS OF MIDDLE SCHOOL / JR HIGH STUDENTS

“Junior high is the worst!”

I can’t tell you how many times I have heard this phase spoken by kids and adults alike. It’s almost like a universal truth.

It feels like our babies are being thrust into adulthood and are learning all sorts of things we never wanted them to in the four walls of their junior high.

Junior high is when we see our kids deal with friend drama like never before.

They think they are so big, and so they start testing the waters with things like swearing and inappropriate communication. Junior high is also the most likely place our kids will start learning about sex, drugs, and adult topics. It can feel like the subsequent loss of our innocent babies.

The 12-14 age is perhaps the most shocking phase of adolescence for both the parents and their child. This is when they, (statistically speaking), will hate you, themselves, their life, their friends and everything in between the very most. This is the time in our kids’ lives where they are trying to figure out who they are. It can be very disorienting for parents who are trying to keep up and make sense of it all.

If you are anything like me, Junior high can feel just as stressful for us as parents as it does for our kids. It’s rough. I’m here for you.

You don’t have to face the Junior high years alone.

By joining my group of parents, you’ll be taught a valuable tool each session, have the ability to be coached, and listen to others get coached- this is really significant in the fact that other parents may be facing issues that are soon to arise for you and you’ll have the gained insight to parent from a better place.

Also, when you’re the one getting coached it can become unnerving. It’s hard to soak up as much information with the spotlight on you. But if it’s another parent, whose struggle is similar to your own, breakthroughs can be easier and more comfortable. The community in this group will be huge as we support our kids through the rough start of adolescence.
