A creative and insightfully written allegory of Avis’ spiritual journey toward healing and discovering the REAL Jesus. Mom Got Jesus Wrong was relatable and I could see parts of myself in many of the characters. Heather’s characters and narrative gave me lots of opportunity to reflect and see areas where I have room to grow.
